My testimony is this: I was a liar, a cheat, a thief. I believed that was wrong. but I couldn't stop my anti-social behavior no matter how hard I tried. I met a man who told me about the love of Jesus. he had been in the same perdicament. Then he believed the Bible story about Jesus. He placed his faith in God's promise. an was changed. He became a different man, loving, kind, true. I tried it and it did the same for me. I told some others and it worked for them too. This to me is evidence beyond critical speculation. Thousands of no good rascals have become decent loving kind people who tell the same story. The violent rascal Saul of Tarsus was changed into the Great Apostle Paul by the same process. Read it in the Bible book of Acts. We don't need proof by theology or science. Just look at these real results that happen every day all over our world. It is changed lives that will make this world a better place to live!

I have no doubt at all that a change in one's belief can bring about drastic changes in one's life. I've also heard of the same sort life changes happening though conversions to other religions--and even in deconversions from religions. So I have to respectfully diagree with your conclusion.
Thanks for sharing though :)

Howard,

There is no logic in attributing the change to some magical phenomena explainable only by Jesus. It's called being willing to make a change, finding some direction in one's life, and support/resources to make such a change. Regardless, it's demonstrative of the human condition and the power of free will.

I've seen plenty of people changed around completely from such things as joining the military, or tough love too...

Still, happy for you.
